Hello, my name is Gil Dabah (AKA Arkon). I live in Tel Aviv, Israel. I devote some of my free time to binary code analysis. For the last few years I have been working on diStorm64, you can read about it here. I am still not done, there's diStorm3 coming next. In my free time, I am also an active member in the ZERT team. I personally wrote the VML patch with the help of the team members. About RageStorm, I started this site with Oren Becker in 1999, after we used to program small applications for our own fun and profit. We wanted to share our code and help people with questions and needs. Later on, Uri Yanover joined the RageStorm team. Unfortunately, both Oren and Uri don't have time for this site, so I maintain it myself. Here and there I upload new content and update stuff. Sometimes, I code my own unuseful stuff, just to research how things work. I have this odd habit to understand how things work, thus I really like low-level programming. Speaking of low-level, my favorite language is Assembly, although, when it's up to me, I won't use it for programming, only for fun or shell coding. Since I've messed too much with Assembly, I just started to debug applications and read how they work, reversing them... That's why I wanted to write my own disassembler too, which one day will be more useful, as in high-level disassembler. I run the Code-Crunchers mailing list, which is for crazy people who really like Assembly. You can subscribe here.
